⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have loved reading the ACOTAR main trilogy. I think I'm going to save A Court of Frost and Starlight to read just before I get my hands on A Court of Silver Flames. But the main trilogy has been brilliant. I'll admit when I first picked up book one I thought it was good but everyone had given me such a high expectation that I was maybe expecting it to be better, and then I got into it properly and I was like omg ok I see it now.
Book two was brilliant which I gave a five star review to. This third book was also fantastic but since (and I seem to have this in common with everybody else) book two was my favourite I do have to give this one a slightly lower rating of four stars.
If you're really into action and enjoy reading a good war then this will be perfect for you! I have to admit that Sarah J. Maas knows how to paint a battle scene better than most authors I've read so far.
What really makes this series for me are the CHARACTERS, I can relate to each and every one of them on a different level. By now I almost feel like I know them. I had the book blues after finishing this one thats for sure. Felt like I'd lost my friends, lol help.
So yeah, I loved all the characters but my heart broke over and over again for Mor and I bloody love Maas for bringing this VERY real life issue into the book. It shows that no matter who you are and how strong you are the hardest thing in the world is to be yourself. If you've read it then you know but if you've not read it then I don't want to ruin what happens!
This book had the best ending, I couldn't have hoped for anything more. Like Maas, seriously thanks so much for giving me the most amazing story that ticks all the boxes for each emotion I am capable of and actually ends with a full conclusion.
I'm excited for the next books but I just need to sit on this for a little while, I'm not ready to move on!!
As an Amazon affiliate I would so much appreciate it if you could buy ACOWAR through the link below if you're looking at buying it or any of the rest of the series.
But seriously though, this is a trilogy you can't go on without...
