Such an interesting storyline with diverse characters. Everything in the story slots together perfectly and I just loved it so much. One of my favourite reads of the year.
Adeyemi has such a special writing technique, I was hooked from the very start. Honestly such an enjoyable read. This was honestly a cover buy and completely exceeded my expectations. Wonderful to read a West-African fantasy.
P.S - The authors note at the end is going to make you cry. You’ve been warned.
